I can’t find my policy documents?
If you can’t find your policy documents then please get directly in contact with your insurance intermediary and by extension your insurer and request that they send you out a copy. Some insurance providers may also make your policy documents available online, so you may be able to access these through logging in on their website, or they could even be somewhere in your email inbox.

What can be used as proof of No Claims Discount (NCD)?
Your insurance provider may have sent you details of your no claims discount to you with your annual renewal notice/ letter. You may equally request for it if you don’t have it yet and your insurance should oblige. This document should be used as proof of discount with a new insurer should you change.
How do I buy my insurance?
You can purchase the policy of your choice by clicking “Get-A-Quote” on any page here for your chosen policy/ insurer. This will take you to the insurance brokers/ providers page where you will have to confirm your details, choose your payment method and you are good to go!
Where are my policy documents?
Generally the insurance provider will either provide these online or send soft/ hard copy to you immediately. If you have not received these within 2 days then kindly directly contact your insurance intermediate / provider.

After signing in via the “Retrieve Quotes” button at the “Get Quotes” page, you will be directed to your history page where you can view all your previous quotes and more.

You’ve asked me to create a password, why won’t you accept what I’ve entered?
We have no rule in creating password, so if your password is not being accepted, then it may be that the second instance of your password entered doesn’t match the first. Please ensure that the Cap Lock isn’t on and re-enter your password.
I’ve forgotten my password. What should I do?
On the page where you have been asked to enter your details there is a “Forgotten your Password?” option button, click this then enter your details and we’ll instantly send you an email with simple instructions on how to reset your password.
How do I get another quote?
After signing in via the “Retrieve Quotes” button at the “Get Quotes” page, you will be directed to your history page where you can view all your previous quotes, from here you can click the “Get New Quote” and generate a new quote with your details pre-populated.
How do I update my personal details?
You can update these by: Clicking on the “Retrieve Quotes” button at the “Get Quotes” page – Signing in with your login details – Click “Get New Quote” – From here you can change any details you wish and generate a new quote.
How do I unsubscribe from your mailing list?
We stay in touch with you so we remind you of when your renewal is due, and also enlighten you about new services quotationhouse.com is offering, however if you don’t want us to contact you simply click on unsubscribe and enter your email address to be removed from our mailing list.
I can’t find my job title!
Unfortunately we’re unable to list every possible job title, but we have tried to compile an extensive list as possible. If you can’t seem to find your job title then please choose something that is as similar as possible to your role, before purchasing your policy ensure you inform the insurance provider of your actual occupation.
Why isn’t my car registration being recognised?
Our system looks up cars registered throughout the DVLA, so make sure to first double check that you have entered your registration details correctly. If the registration still cannot be found, then you can manually enter your type of vehicle registration number. Kindly bear in mind that some insurance providers will need to know your registration number/ plate before you can purchase a car insurance policy.
Why can’t I enter my car details manually?
If you select “No” when asked if you know your registration number then a form will automatically be generated below offering you the option to manually enter your car details.
How do I reset the password to my Quotationhouse.com account?
You can do this by logging into your quotationhouse.com account via the “Retrieve Quotes” button located at “Get Quotes” page; once you are on your personal quotes page there is “Forgotten Password” button. Clicking this will open a new window which will allow you to change your password.
How do I delete my Quotationhouse.com account?
Currently you can’t manually delete your own account, however if you get in contact with us we will remove it for you. You can contact us by clicking here or you can also let us know by replying to any of the email correspondence we send out to you.
Do you cover modified cars, imports or kit cars?

How long is the online quote going to take?
Generally a quote will only take 5-10 minutes, but fortunately this will only be the case for the first time as we automatically save your quote so the next time you sign in, you can re-run the same details if you wish to, in a matter of seconds.
How do you make money?
We make money by charging the insurance provider a specific rate or commission for every sale they make through our site, this however does not increase the final cost of the premium, as we allow the insurance providers to appear on our quoting systems for free, and since we carry out all the advertising for them it means they don’t have to charge higher prices to cover the commission.
Why are your prices different from other price comparison sites?
Whilst all price comparison sites operate in a very similar way there can be variances in some of the questions asked as well as some of the options available as answers, these may lead to a marginal difference on the prices of some insurance policies. Also some price comparison sites may display an exclusive price, however be sure to read all the details as the cheapest cover may not always be the best policy.
What kind of insurance do you compare?
We provide a comparison service for almost all insurance products approved by National Insurance Commission in Ghana.
How do I know you’re impartial, surely you promote some companies more than others?
We benefit same from each insurance provider each time a sale is made, so we have no incentive to promote any particular company ahead of another, and operate 100% impartially across all our insurance products. Our only interest is providing you with a competitive quotes from credible providers.
How do I know what’s included in the policy?
On our results page we do our best to show what extras each insurance policy includes and what other add-ons are available. After clicking through to an insurance provider page they generally have a “View policy Summary” option, which provides you with all the details and small print.
Can you explain the various vehicle uses to me?
Social, Domestic, Pleasure and Commuting – Is designed for casual use of the car and also commuting to and from a single place of work. Social, Domestic and Please – Is appropriate for when a car is not used for work at all. Business Use – Means you drive your vehicle to several sites away from your permanent place of work i.e. an operational manager may have to travel to several different offices on a weekly basis. Commercial use – Is appropriate for when a vehicle is used for door to door or travelling sales.
How far in advance can I get a quote?
Typically most insurance providers will only quote one month in advance due to changing costs and pricing of insurance policies.
